Polysurlyn moisture barrier is an engineered three-layer coextruded film of polyethylene and Surlyn polymer with a total film thickness of 3 mils (76 microns). It is firmly covered on the surface of the aluminum coil by high temperature and high pressure. The polysurlyn layer of aluminum coil has moisture -proof, corrosion resistance, wearable and durability.
Aluminium roll jacketing is available in a smooth finish or a stucco embossed pattern. Either finish can come with 5mm (3 / 16") corrugations.
Thickness : 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm (other thicknesses available).
Widths: 914mm and 1220mm (914mm for corrugated rolls)

APPLICATIONS
The preferred method for specifying metal jacketing is to require the use of Polysurlyn Moisture Barrier to help prevent corrosion of the interior surface of the metal jacketing and the underlying insulated pipe, tank, or equipment. Polysurlyn Moisture Barrier is preferred on all types of metal jacketing including aluminium, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluzinc, and aluminized steel types I and II to help prevent this corrosion. Polysurlyn Moisture Barrier is preferred on the metal jacketing for all applications of mechanical insulation including that used in hot, cold, pipe, tanks, equipment, industrial, commercial, petrochem, and oil/gas applications.
